This 45-minute course is designed for children (ages 3-12) and their guardians. It addresses common concerns about hiking with kids through engaging games and hands-on activities. Participants learn about outdoor safety, trail selection, packing essentials, and Leave No Trace principles.

There’s no place quite like Bunnyland at Linvilla Orchards. Hop aboard a hayride as it carries you through the woods to visit the Easter Bunny’s house, where you'll have the chance to meet Linvilla's, Easter Bunny! While visiting, one of our Bunny's friends will tell you a magical story, and you will receive a special treat. If you would like to capture your special visit, be sure to bring your camera since the Easter Bunny likes to take pictures with all special guests!



Visit the Bunny in Lower Level Center Court to capture your spring family memories.



This spring, Peddler’s Village presents the 6th Annual PEEPS® in the Village, on display from Friday, March 24 through Sunday, April 27. The colorful display will include more than 90 creations of wall art, dioramas, and sculpture, featuring the popular Pennsylvania-made bunnies and chicks, and carefully handmade and contributed by Philly-area residents and organizations. Admission to the display is free. Guests are invited to vote for their favorite entries. Housed in the new Visitor & Event Center, located off Street Road and Peddler’s Lane.



Don’t miss Elmo’s Eggstravaganza – our exciting Easter Celebration on select dates in 2024! Guests can visit Sesame Place Philadelphia for a hoppin’ good time with exciting rides, entertaining shows, the Sesame Street Party Parade, and special Easter fun with everyone’s favorite furry friends.



The newness and beauty of spring beckon throughout our Gardens this season. It’s our first with our stunning Bonsai Courtyard, gorgeous new outdoor landscapes, and redesigned Idea Garden … making this a season of fresh beginnings like never before.

Explore paleontology’s final frontier in Ice Dinosaurs, the Academy’s exciting new special exhibit. Transport yourself to the Late Cretaceous period in the Arctic Circle, where dinosaurs actually lived year-round in extreme polar environments. This brand-new, immersive, and educational experience brings this era to life with animatronic dinosaurs, engaging stories, and real fossils, skeletons, and museum casts.




Children of all ages are welcome to sit and listen, ask questions, doodle, draw, paste, and color to their heart's content. (Accompanying adults are also welcome to get involved!)





Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park have adventures behind every corner. They are the ultimate indoor playground for your entire family. Take your kids' birthday party to the next level or spend a day of fun with the family, and you'll see why we're more than just a trampoline park.

Enjoy free, all-day admission to the Brandywine Museum of Art and its special exhibitions.
In addition to free admission, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., explore the people and places in the Robert Frank & Todd Webb: Across America 1955 exhibition with an interactive gallery hunt. Afterwards, use their photographs as inspiration to create a framed portrait drawing of yourself or a loved one and a cityscape collage.



It’s the first Sunday of the month, which means free admission at the Barnes. This month, we’re celebrating our annual STEAM-based Art of Math Challenge. Every year, students from Greater Philadelphia and beyond employ math strategies to design and build 3D scale models based on paintings in the Barnes collection. Get inspired by the creative student-made works on display, enjoy free access to our galleries and newest exhibition, Cecily Brown: Themes and Variations, and take part in fun family-friendly activities throughout the day!

Linvilla Orchard's famous Hayrides to Bunnyland is a hayride thru the woods to visit the Easter Bunnies' house, the Easter Bunny visits with everyone on the ride and gives them each a treat. Bring your camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny!


Train Rides

Welcome Spring with a ride through beautiful farmland with the Easter Bunny as your Conductor. Boys and girls will be delighted with a special surprise as the Easter Bunny greets them on board this memorable train.

Hop' on board the West Chester Railroad and take a 90-minute round trip along the beautiful Chester Creek from West Chester to the historic Glen Mills village. The Easter Bunny will be on board our heated, decorated train, handing out treats to all passengers!

Join us for Penncrest High School’s first Carnival for Cure supporting the foundation for fighting blindness. Held in the Penncrest gym on March 29th, this is a family-friendly event with carnival games, performances, bounce houses, and food. Free admission



Individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorder and their families are invited to join us for early access to the Museum and a variety of creative and accessible activities. Families will have the opportunity to explore the Museum, discovering some of their favorite summer hobbies throughout paintings and art activities.



Join PA Master Naturalist Terry Mallon for a scavenger hunt on Tyler’s trails! We’ll search for hidden wonders—like tiny mushrooms, unusual leaves, and signs of wildlife. Along the way, we’ll uncover fun facts about the natural world and sharpen our observation skills. This walk is perfect for young explorers who love to observe nature. Bring the whole family for an outdoor adventure!
