The Media Arts Council’s (M.A.C.)
2nd Saturday Arts Stroll will take place on
October 11th in Media from 6-9pm.
In the spirit of Second Saturday, visual art will be highlighted and there will be activities for everyone. This month there will also be opportunities for young budding artists to display their works! The Media Arts Council invites all children artists to bring their artwork to the Franklin Mint during the hours of the 2nd Saturday Arts Stroll to hang in our mini “instant gallery.” Six easels will showcase the artwork of young artists for all to enjoy.
On the 2nd Saturday of every month, over 30 businesses on and around State Street in Media stay open late as part of a free arts event. From 6:00 to 9:00 pm, shops, galleries and cafes host local musicians or display the work of local artists. Visitors can stroll the friendly streets of Media and use M.A.C.'s map to find music, art and participating shops.
