Learn about the creepy creatures of the night and the Halloween season.
Come learn about the creepy creatures of the night and the Halloween season. Discover the various types of spiders and why they don’t stick to their own webs. Learn about bats and why they are more like us than you think! Find out why the owl is the silent predator of the night and learn what owls eat by dissecting an owl pellet. We will conclude with a creepy craft creation to take home.
Junior Naturalist programs are for elementary school-age children. Each program explores a different aspect of the natural world, and includes a lesson and outdoor exploration. Adults are welcome to accompany children; fee is for the child only unless otherwise specified.
