Volunteers Needed for Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy's

16th Annual Brandywine River Cleanup on April 18



WHAT: In conjunction with Earth Day, the Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy invite volunteers to help remove debris along the banks of the Brandywine River. Every year, thousands of pounds of trash are collected--from plastic bottles and fencing to lawn chairs, duck decoys and tires.
Volunteers are advised to wear long pants, heavy shoes or boots, and sunscreen. Gloves will be provided.

WHEN: Saturday, April 18, rain or shine

9 am. Registration at Brandywine River Museum parking lot

9:30 a.m. Teams depart for designated areas

12 noon Return to Brandywine River Museum for lunch provided by Buckley's Tavern to 1 p.m.



WHERE: Register at the Brandywine River Museum parking lot,

U.S. Route 1 in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.

The Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy is a membership group of young adults dedicated to furthering the goals of the Brandywine Conservancy, including the Brandywine River Museum and the Environmental Management Center.
