Upper Darby Summer Stage presents “Yo, Vikings!” on July 21, 22 and 23, a world premiere Children’s Theater musical. The delightfully entertaining musical, packed with exciting songs, tells a riveting story about how far a determined little girl’s imaginative journey can take her.
The book, “Yo, Vikings!” was written by New York Times best-selling author of the “Skippyjon Jones” children book series, Judith Byron Schachner of Swarthmore, PA. The world premiere musical, written and directed by Marcus Stevens a Summer Stage alumnus and winner of the Richard Rodgers Award, brings Ms. Schachner’s engaging true story to life on the stage. Audiences will applaud the compelling, catchy and memorable music written by Samuel Willmott.
Ms. Schachner the New York Times best-selling author will be on site at each performance to sign books.
