The Lansdowne Arts Festival is a weekend-long event featuring an array of creative and performing arts, including painting, crafts, sculpture, jewelry, live music, drama, spoken word and children’s events. Set in the historic suburb of Lansdowne.
There will also be a Kids Art Tent.
Design your own hacky-sack ball, create goofy googles, make scratch-off art, or just enjoy coloring pages. From 11 am to 2 pm on both Saturday and Sunday, kids of all ages can join in these fun, free activities. The Kids Art Tent is located on the front lawn of the Twentieth Century Club near the festival entrance. Other fun activities include:
Colonial-era Craft Activities
Colonial Plantation in Ridley Creek State Park will help to recreate 18th-century Pennsylvania farm life with a bit of colonial craft making, including corn husk dolls. Don’t miss this fun and educational activity!
Color Your Own Arts Festival T-Shirt
Plus, participants will enjoy other creative activities, including adding color and their own personal touch to their own 2010 Lansdowne Arts Festival t-shirts ($3 each). Kids Art Tent activities are FREE and open to kids of all ages, however, a minimal cost of $3 will be charged per kids t-shirt.
