The concert will feature a performance of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's opera Snegurochka (The Snow Maiden). Snegurochka is a Russian fairy tale about the daughter of the Spring Fairy and the King of Frost who yearns to live with people. The opera, sung in English, explores love and the interactions of mythological characters and humans.
