Great Backyard Bird Count

Every year the National Audubon Society and Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology sponsor the Great Backyard Bird Count, providing a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages and birding skills to contribute to the nationwide effort to collect important population data. Learn how to identify birds that live at Tyler through this very important citizen science program. Then return home to collect and contribute bird sighting data from your own backyard! This program is suitable for children ages 7 and up.
