Interactive Art Stroll for Kids

Turn around and what to do you see - a Picasso looking at me! Join World of Song’s, local teaching and performing artist, Allison DeSalvo, for “Go Inside Out”, a kid friendly art stroll of select masterpieces from ‘inside the Philadelphia Museum of Art brought out’ and into our community. The interactive walking tour, geared for young children 2 – 7, will include songs, coloring/drawing, kids yoga, “I Spy” games, and improvised stories on the spot, relating to 7 out of the 11 installations on display throughout the town of Media. Children will receive a souvenir bag. Children need to be accompanied by an adult. The tours are free and open to the public and families are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy at the conclusion of each event. Bring water, strollers, hats, comfortable shoes, and get ready to GO Inside Out!
All tours begin at the Plum Street Mall in Media. Dates are Thursdays, June 25 at 10am, June 9, and June 23rd at 4pm, and one on 2nd Saturday, June 11 at 10:30am and last 60 - 75 minutes. Tours will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather, check website for updates,except on 2nd Saturday July 11 an indoor program will be held at the Media Arts Council/Center Gallery at 609 W. State Street.
