2021 Fireworks and 4th of July Celebrations in Delaware County and the Philadelphia Area

Below is a list of parades, events, and fireworks in the Delaware County area. Don't forget the Wawa Welcome America celebration in Philadelphia that includes a parade on July 4th, concerts, and outdoor movies. Click here for the calendar of events in Philadelphia.

Saturday, July 3rd

Aldan
Aldan’s Independence Day Celebration will be held at 11:00 a.m.


The Bethel Township Parks and Recreation Board will be hosting its Annual Fireworks display on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021, at Bethel Springs Elementary School. The rain date for this event is Monday, July 5th. Residents are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for the event and are reminded that no alcoholic beverages or smoking are permitted. The display is set to begin at dusk and Mister Softee (Ice Cream) will be available for purchase. 


Norwood
Celebrate Independence Day with the Citizens of Norwood! Old fashioned fun with a parade and fireworks at dusk.


The parade begins at 10am at the Rosemont Business Campus and will follow the previously used route through our community.

Ridley Park’s annual Big Bang Fireworks at The Lake begins at dusk.   


Sunday, July 4th

Aston 
Independence Day Celebration will be on July 4th, behind Sun Valley High School.  The DJ begins at 7pm at fireworks begin around 9:15pm

Clifton Heights

Parade at 10am. Fireworks will be held at Clifton Heights Athletic Field (Springfield Road and Sycamore Avenue), with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. (Raindate July 5th)


4th of July Parade starts at 9 am at Nazarene Church Parking lot

(Raindate July 11th)
The parade starts at 12pm beginning at Mac Dade and Ashland, ending in the park. 

Lansdowne 
The Union Athletic Association of Lansdowne presents the annual Independence Day parade featuring marching bands, antique cars, decorated bikes, and floats. The route starts at 9 am on July 4th at East Greenwood.  Fireworks begin at 9 pm


Monday, July 5th

Come out and watch the parade on July 5th starting at 10 AM. The parade starts at St. Alban's Circle in Newtown Square and travels down West Chester Pike to the Broomall Fire Company. 

Thornbury Township
Thornbury will hold its Annual Fourth of July Parade, on July 5th. Parade along Glen Mills Road to Thornbury Park. Refreshments and games at the park. Formation begins 9:30 am at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Parade begins at 10:00 am
