Bug Fest is back at the Academy this August! While this year's event will be a bit scaled back from past years, we are excited to present a hybrid version of Bug Fest with both in-person activities as well as virtual programs. Join us in person August 13–15 for creepy-crawly insect displays, roach races, and auditorium shows. Check the schedule below to explore virtual programs for bug lovers of all ages and don't miss the chance to meet up with our entomologists in person at the Rushton Conservation Center for some community science.

Visitors of all ages are invited to discover solutions to science and engineering challenges at Science Saturday. Activities are included in regular admission and are free for Hagley members. This is a drop-in activity, feel free to join the fun at any time from 12 to 4 p.m. Use Hagley’s main entrance off Route 141 in Wilmington, Delaware.
This year’s public environmental programming will look a bit different due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of a scheduled program led by our staff naturalist, we will be introducing new signage with fun facts, self-guided nature explorations, and exciting challenges for our park visitors!
