What to do this weekend with your family? Here is a list of things you can enjoy with your family this weekend. There is so much to do for families and kids, especially now that most venues are open and happy to welcome you back.
Linvilla Orchards' annual Costume Parade is scheduled for Sunday, October 24, 2021. Each child that participates will receive a treat and our judges will pick the top 3 of each age group and offer great prizes! There will be 1 grand prize winner who will receive $100 in Linvilla Cash! So, get creative and put on your Halloween best and we will see you here! This is a fair-weather event, so fingers crossed for a dry day!
Announcing our annual Scare Wash! Pack your car with family and friends and join us for an evening of scares and fun. A covid friendly alternative to Halloween scare attractions, this event pairs scares with a car wash included! The event is occurring Friday-Sunday through October 30th, from 6:30 - 9:30 pm. Can't wait to see you there, bring your screams!
Grab your hot cocoa or apple cider and join us outside in the courtyard for roasting marshmallows, an evening scavenger hut, and playing games on October 22nd at 7pm. This is a great opportunity for us to reconnect and celebrate the coming season. Bottled water and individually wrapped snacks will be provided. All our welcome. Due to COVID masks are required when not eating or drinking and social distancing is highly recommended at all times when possible.

Join us for a family-friendly stroll through the haunted Woodlot. Wear a costume and trick or treat your way through the Ford Fitness Trail. Families are invited to submit carved pumpkins and scarecrows to line the walk - your creativity might win you a prize!
Celebrate Halloween Brandywine Zoo-style with this merry, not scary, event. All are invited to wear costumes while visiting the zoo animals. Plenty of treats and activities. Kids will receive a treat bag at the end! Members do not need to register for Boo, just bring your card and/or photo ID. Tickets are available at the door and online. Online purchase recommended.
Join us at the zoo for some special after-hours trick-or-treating fun! This after-hours access of our regularly scheduled Boo at the Zoo event is specially geared for our guests with special needs along with their families and caregivers. This is a great opportunity to experience and enjoy Boo at the Zoo in a more relaxed setting, perfect for those with sensory sensitivities. Guests can walk the zoo and participate in treat stations, animal meet-and-greets, a costume parade, and more! Don’t forget your costume and your trick-or-treat bag!
Pile your friends and family in the car and take in a fun film under the night sky. All films are rated PG. Gates open at 5 pm, the movie starts at 7 pm.

Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. Take a 15 min hayride through our orchards and drops you off at a campfire with marshmallows and apple cider.
Teens and Tweens will enjoy The Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride that has been voted the #1 haunt in the country and has been featured on the Travel Channel.
Come in costume and celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! The park will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haven and guests will enjoy trick-or-treating around the park, Halloween-themed shows, participating in our interactive Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt, and unique photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite furry friends dressed up in costume on their Halloween-themed floats!
Visit Pumpkin Garden where your kids will love the pillow bounce, moon bounces the brand new barn bounce, and pumpkin jump. Have a blast with the corn cannon. Mine for gems at our all-new gem mining experience. Visit with the animals at the Petting Zoo. With train rides, pedal carts, hay bale mazes, and more the kids are sure to have fun! But the fun doesn’t end there! Take a hayride down to the Pumpkin Patch to pick your own pumpkin. Or see if how quickly you can find your way through the 5-acre corn maze.
Over 100 spectacular scarecrows line the autumn-tinted pathways of Peddler’s Village during our 42nd annual Scarecrows in the Village, on display from September 6 through October 30! For eight fun-filled weeks, view and vote for your favorite larger-than-life creations in this Bucks County tradition. Some scarecrows are inspired by famous characters, some are humorous, some are scary – but all of them are carefully handmade by Philly-area residents and organizations.
Enjoy fun fall activities, including our annual Scarecrow-Making Workshops (reserve your spot online) and pumpkin painting, live entertainment every weekend, and delicious fall-inspired specials at Village restaurants.
Pumpkinland is open from September 11th through November 7th and takes center stage at Linvilla Orchards. Larger-than-life figures and scarecrows illustrate the legends and lore of the harvest season, featuring local history and some of the many stories of pumpkins and apples.
See our piles of pumpkins in all colors, shapes, and sizes — over 100 tons on display! We do not do Pick Your Own pumpkins at Linvilla. Our Pumpkins are pre-harvested. Find a huge selection of straw bales, corn shocks, toys, and fall decorations of all kinds.
This year we will continue with tickets for our daytime activities as well as our Autumn Moon, Harvest, and Witch's Hayrides to help better accommodate the number of visitors throughout the day. Tickets are required for ages 1 and older. 11 months and under are complimentary.
Test your navigation skills in our straw bale and cornfield mazes and Pick Your Own fall apples. Grab some candy and caramel apples and see the Linvilla jack-o-lantern exhibit!
Join the fun at The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire The Renaissance fair occurring over 13 weekends from early August through late October on the grounds of the Mount Hope Estate and Winery in Manheim, Pennsylvania.
This year’s public environmental programming will look a bit different due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of a scheduled program led by our staff naturalist, we will be introducing new signage with fun facts, self-guided nature explorations, and exciting challenges for our park visitors! This month's theme is Monarchs.
Travel back in time 66 million years ago and journey to an age when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Encounter 24 life-size creatures, learn about these prehistoric giants, the rise of humans, and our impact on wildlife and the planet! Timed tickets are required.
Reel in fun and enjoy a day fishing at Linvilla's Orchard Lake! Orchard Lake was originally constructed to provide irrigation water for some of the farm’s many crops. However, creating a fishing destination was an equally important priority. In 2004 trout fishing opened at Orchard Lake, and it has been a popular activity ever since. Reserve tickets in advance.
