Saturday, July 2nd
Join us for the best fireworks in DELCO! Starting at Dusk at Eastlake Park
Sunday, July 3rd
The Bethel Township Parks and Recreation Board will be hosting its Annual Fireworks display on Sunday, July 3rd at Bethel Springs Elementary School. Residents are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for the event and are reminded that no alcoholic beverages or smoking are permitted. The display is set to begin at dusk.
Sunday, July 4th
Aston
Independence Day Celebration will be on July 4th, behind Sun Valley High School. Fireworks begin around 9:15pm
The flea market starts at 9 am. The parade starts at 10 am and fireworks start at 9:30 all at Clifton field
Celebrate the Fourth of July at Colonial Plantation with a reading of the Declaration of Independence, patriotic celebrations, and historic demonstrations. Adults $12, Children $8. Member discounts $2 off per ticket. The site is open 11 AM to 4 PM, last admission is at 3 PM.
Our yearly parade is back! The fun begins in the Wells Fargo parking lot at MacDade Blvd and Ashland Ave. Participants may begin to lineup starting at 9:30 a.m. The parade time is 10:30. The baby parade will start at Scott and Knowles Aves, and follow the main parade shortly after 11.
Join us in Glenolden Park at the conclusion of the parade for patriotic ceremonies followed by food and fun in the park. We will have bounce houses, trackless train rides, a 50/50, and games with prizes for the kids (and a few adults).
Lansdowne
The Union Athletic Association of Lansdowne presents the annual Independence Day parade featuring marching bands, antique cars, decorated bikes, and floats. The route starts at 9 am on July 4th at Wes Greenwood. Fireworks begin at 9 pm
Get your bikes, scooters, wagons and strollers ready!
The Annual Llanerch Civic Association 4th of July Parade is happening!! The parade leaves from the Llanerch Fire House parking lot at 9:45
We will parade through the neighborhood ending at Llanerch Park (entering from Moewyn Road) for refreshments and patriotism.
Come out and watch the parade on July 5th starting at 10 AM. The parade starts at St. Alban's Circle in Newtown Square and travels down West Chester Pike to the Broomall Fire Company.
The Media Recreation Board invites you to join them for their annual Independence Day Celebration on Monday, July 4 from 10am-12pm. It is a day of food, fun, and entertainment. Live performance by Silly Joe.
There will be a water slide and games for the kids as well as a bike decorating contest for those that wish to participate.
In the case of inclement weather, festivities will be moved indoors at the Community Center located at 3rd and Jackson.
The parade begins at 10am at the Rosemont Business Campus and will follow the previously used route through our community.
Ridley Park Borough will be hosting its Annual 4th of July Parade and Games on Monday, July 4th.
Thornbury Township
Thornbury will hold its Annual Fourth of July Parade, on July 5th. Parade along Glen Mills Road to Thornbury Park. Refreshments and games at the park. Formation begins 9:30 am at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Parade begins at 10:00 am
Celebrate America’s birthday with everyone’s favorite furry friends. Visit Photos with Elmo & Friends to take a patriotic photo with Elmo in his red, white & blue attire! On Monday, be sure to stick around for an impressive display of fireworks!
Fireworks will begin at 9:00PM.
