Linvilla Orchards’ Apple Festival honors apples every autumn. This legendary festival could not properly be celebrated in just one day! This event is scheduled when Pick Your Own apples are most commonly at the height of their season and you can choose from the many varieties grown right here at Linvilla. Our Apple Festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2023.
This year, we have expanded the footprint to accommodate the most vendors we’ve ever had! Food, crafts, pony rides, a petting zoo, a zip line, gaming trailers, and of course, live music! See you there!

The International Festival is a signature event for Upper Darby, the sixth largest municipality in Pennsylvania, with a population of more than 85,000 people, representing dozens of cultures from around the world and with over 100 languages spoken. Thousands of local residents have attended previous years' Festivals, which showcased Upper Darby’s rich cultural diversity through food, live performances, and activities for the whole family.

Linvilla Orchard's famous Hayride to the Witch's House is a hayride to visit the friendly Witch in the woods. The witch tells stories and jokes and gives all of the kids a treat. The hayride will end at a campfire where there will be Cider and Marshmallows! This hayride is especially for young children! This is not a haunted hayride. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join their children on the ride.
Teens and Tweens will enjoy The Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride, which has been voted the #1 haunt in the country and has been featured on the Travel Channel.
All aboard the Dinosaur Train at Please Touch Museum! This traveling exhibit will transport kids back to the time of dinosaurs and encourage basic scientific learning through fun, hands-on activities.

Pumpkinland is open from mid-September through early November and takes center stage at Linvilla Orchards. See our piles of pumpkins in all colors, shapes and sizes — over 100 tons on display! We do not do Pick-Your-Own pumpkins at Linvilla. Our Pumpkins are all pre-harvested and displayed in bins. Larger-than-life figures and scarecrows illustrate the legends and lore of the harvest season, featuring local history and some of the many stories of pumpkins and apples.
Come in costume and celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! The park will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haven, and guests can enjoy trick-or-treating, Halloween-themed shows and parades, participating in our Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt and unique photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite furry friends dressed up in costume.
Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire at Mount Hope Estate. Guests can experience themed entertainment, food, contests, and activities. Tickets should be purchased online in advance to guarantee admission.
The Philadelphia Museum of Art guests can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.
