The Bethel Fire Company will be holding its annual carnival from Tuesday night, May 21st, through Saturday night, May 25th. Carnival hours will be 6 pm to 10 pm each evening on the grounds of the old Francis Harvey Green School, 3220 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA 19060. Come enjoy rides, food, and games. Proceeds benefit our all-volunteer fire department.
Come out for this historic ceremony and parade in its 142nd year. Start gathering at the monument around 10:00 am – 10:30 am.
The parade will begin staging around 10:30 in front of Rockdale Art Center (Ahearns Market) 2551 Mount Rd Aston, for an approximate 11:15am parade.
The oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed competition in the US, the Devon Horse Show is in town and ready to entertain families. In addition to horse competitions, guests can expect traditional country fair delights, raffles, guided back-barn tours, and amusements.
Take a walk, or drive-thru option to see the beauty, smell the fragrance & bring a camera. We will be selling cut flowers at the gate.
Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend at Sesame Place! Don’t miss photos with Elmo dressed in festive red, white, and blue all weekend at Photos with Elmo & Friends. Then, take in our spectacular “C is for Celebrate” fireworks display! Rock out with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and Count von Count, as their music fills the air and the sky is covered with colorful bursts of brilliance. Be sure to watch us paint the sky red (and green and blue) from inside the park. This impressive display will certainly give you something to celebrate this Memorial Day!
The Philadelphia Museum of Art guests can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.
