Fun Things To Do In Delaware County This Weekend For Families And Kids October 4th, 5th & 6th

A list of the best things to do in Delaware County

this weekend

October 4th, 5th & 6th

What to do this weekend with your family? There is so much to do for families and kids. We invite you to check out our
events calendar, with many family-friendly events and things to do on the weekends and every day of the week. We constantly update our events calendar, so there is always something new and exciting to do!

SECRET LIFE UNDER THE STAIRS tells the story of a group of misfit kids who live in a boring town where NOTHING seems to happen – until a new kid shows up and disturbs their secret hideout. The kids spend a memorable afternoon discovering things they never knew about friendship, trust, courage (and a secret, slimy Mystery Jar!). Together, they learn that belonging is a kind of superpower that can help them through tough times.

Mark your calendars - the Media Fall Festival is back by popular demand on Sunday, October 6th! We hope you'll join us for a wonderful day filled with food, music, artists, crafters, and tons of fun for the whole family!

Free event. Bring the kids and enjoy seeing some big trucks while making crafts and getting treats.

This year, we have expanded the footprint to accommodate the most vendors we’ve ever had!  Food, crafts, pony rides, a petting zoo, a zip line, gaming trailers, and of course, live music!  See you there!

Arasapha Farm is open this year with many new additions and family fun. The corn maze has been planted and new games make it more fun than ever. Other activities include pumpkin picking. This includes a Hayride to the Corn Maze and back to the courtyard. Our picnic areas, along with other activities are available for Birthday parties, family reunions and other gatherings. Parties include a jump on the pillow bounce, pallet maze, tractor and truck playground and corn cannons.

Linvilla Orchard's famous Hayride to the Witches’ House is a hayride where you can visit the friendly Witches’ House in the woods. The witch tells stories and jokes and gives all of the kids a treat. The hayride ends at a campfire, where you receive a sample of apple cider and marshmallows to roast.

An annual trip to Pumpkinland has been a family tradition for generations of Delaware Valley Residents. During the months of September and October, Pumpkinland takes center stage at Linvilla Orchards. Larger-than-life figures and scarecrows illustrate the legends and lore of the harvest season, local history, and some of the many stories of pumpkins and apples.

Teens and Tweens will enjoy The Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride, which has been voted the #1 haunt in the country and has been featured on the Travel Channel.

Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire at Mount Hope Estate. Guests can experience themed entertainment, food,  contests, and activities. Tickets should be purchased online in advance to guarantee admission.

Children of all ages are welcome to sit and listen, ask questions, doodle, draw, paste, and color to their heart's content. (Accompanying adults are also welcome to get involved!)

The Philadelphia Museum of Art guests can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.

Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park have adventures behind every corner. They are the ultimate indoor playground for your entire family. Take your kids' birthday party to the next level or spend a day of fun with the family, and you'll see why we're more than just a trampoline park.
