Pumpkin Days at Tyler Arboretum

Pumpkins, galore! Families will enjoy a full day of exciting activities and yummy food at the upcoming Pumpkin Days celebration, to be held on Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
An incredible selection of pumpkins awaits with plenty of shapes and sizes to choose from. Live music lends to the festival atmosphere, featuring the tunes of Makin’ Music Rockin’ Rhythms, The Jersey Corn Pickers bluegrass band, and Loft Northern Tribe zydeco band. Hop on a Hay Wagon tour, get spooked in the Haunted Barn, dress up a scarecrow to take home, marvel at a sand sculpture demonstration, wind your way through the corn stalk maze, and enjoy plenty of goofy games and make-and-take crafts. Come hungry and sample the delicious fare at our Food Court and Baked Goods Café. While you’re here, take time to explore the whimsical Magical Habitats exhibit and Tyler’s ever-popular Totally Terrific Treehouses. Fall blooms and gorgeous foliage abound at the Arboretum during this family-fun festival.
If you go: All parking is at the Penn State Brandywine Campus on Rt. 352 with continuous shuttle bus service; strollers are welcome. Admission for Tyler members is $4 for adults, $2 for children ages 3 to 15. Non-member admission is $10 for adults, $7 for children ages 3 to 15. Children under 3 are admitted free.
