"Rally the Troops" is just over a week away. Get ready to be transported back in time at our exciting event, Rally the Troops! Join us on August 3rd from 10 am to 3 pm for a day filled with adventure. Immerse yourself in the world of a Patriot encampment and experience the life of soldiers at Washington's encampment at Brandywine Battlefield Park. Meet soldiers, militiamen, and colonial men and women who will bring history to life. Have a blast with kids' musket drills, musket firing demonstrations, and even recruitment activities for the Continental Army. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to step back in time.
Come to the Brandywine Museum of Art and enjoy free all-day admission, plus join in imaginative art activities* led by teaching artists from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Experience Frank Stewart's incredible photography and create art inspired by Stewart’s compelling images of jazz musicians and travel.
It’s the first Sunday of the month, which means free admission at the Barnes. Enjoy fun art activities, performances, and free access to the first-floor collection galleries, Matisse & Renoir: New Encounters at the Barnes, and Visions.
