Join Thomas the Tank Engine™, a full-sized operating steam locomotive, as he greets friends of all ages. Thomas and his friends return to the Strasburg Rail Road in 2024!
Thomas the Tank Engine — the famous steam locomotive from the Island of Sodor — will pull your 45-minute excursion ride (4.5 miles east and 4.5 miles returning west on the same track) through the beautiful Lancaster County countryside.
The CFHS is excited to announce that we will be hosting a battle reenactment! Join us for a historical journey back to September 11th, 1777, when the British army engaged Washington's troops at Chadd's Ford.
What better way to kick off our fall harvest season than with our annual Arts & Craft Festival! We welcome select local artists and crafts persons to gather and sell their wares. Not only does this spectacular event offer live musical performances you will get a chance to shop for that unique find by browsing a variety of handmade wood crafts, jewelry, photography, candles and more! Bring the family for a fun-filled day that everyone will enjoy.
Community Day begins with a parade from Neumann University (Neumann Drive) starting at 9:00 a.m. The parade will proceed along Concord Road to the Aston Township Community Center. It will feature local community groups and organizations and musical entertainment.
The Annual Business Expo will be held inside the community center for all Aston businesses and organizations interested in displaying their products and services. Other community festivities will be held outside. There will be free rides sponsored by Bette’s Bounces, games, food, drinks, and contests for everyone to enjoy.
The Wayne Business Association is proud to have hosted this award-winning event for generations of families. Thank you to our community for the continued support of this event. An annual trip to Pumpkinland has been a family tradition for generations of Delaware Valley Residents. During the months of September and October, Pumpkinland takes center stage at Linvilla Orchards. Larger-than-life figures and scarecrows illustrate the legends and lore of the harvest season, local history, and some of the many stories of pumpkins and apples.
Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire at Mount Hope Estate. Guests can experience themed entertainment, food, contests, and activities. Tickets should be purchased online in advance to guarantee admission.
The Philadelphia Museum of Art guests can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.
